Overview : Here little efforts for navigation software for India. Here this is complete guide to Download n install various Navigation SW available for India at one place
Review : this is purely review of my personal expireince, this may b vary individually.
1.Sygic Aura v11.2.0: I rank this SW as number 1, very nice interface,3D map for selected city. lots of POI, drawback is sometime hang and smwat slow
2.Navigon 3.6.0 : This is nice Sw, Gud interface, gud number of POI, Fastest map i have tried
3.Google Map 5.7(internation activated) : I rank this 3rd just b'coz it needs internet connection, but when online search is matter, there is no alternate to google.
5.7 version have map downloading feature available, but my expirience says still it req net, at startup of navigation
4.NDrive India v10.1.15 : Interface is average, lots of POI, but one thing annoying is all city of india is managed as same category(no state wise selection), i marked many of wrong POI too, Speed is nice.
5.Sygic MapMyIndia 8.22 : Interface good, Hangs many time, I think this one is better choice for symbian phone

Here I briefly describe Download n Installation map for each

1.Google Map 5.7 (international map Activated)

Requirement : 2.1 and up

Install guide :
(1)How to inst re-sign version:
1. In Titanium Backup, Maps and make a backup.
2. Maps and wipe data, then uninst.
3. Street View and wipe data, then uninst
4. Inst maps5.7.0-ownhere-testkeyresign.apk
5. Go to market, and reinst street view.

or
(2)ADB

first uninst Maps from /system/app
adb remount
adb push /maps5.7.0-ownhere.apk /system/app

or
(3)CWM flashable zip
Download zip file from below and install using CWM recovery

Google Map world Navigation for non rooted phone

Note : this version will install along with stock map, so you will see double icon for map lattitude n place. see carefully map icon having small o on icon, when you need navigation, open this map, search for your desired place n press navigation con(small arrow blue) just below search field, it will open navigation. (navigation shortcut not available on desktop)

2.Sygic Aura Navigator v11.2.0

Requirements: Android v2.0.1 - 2.3.3

Overview: Premium turn-by-turn GPS navigation app.

PS: Install apk file to device, Now you can directly download Map n base file from your device vith wifi, or you may download from above link n base file extract to Aura folder, n place in device memory, Map file shud b place in map folder of Aura folder

3.MobileNavigator India v3.6.0
Requirements: Android 1.5+
Overview: GPS navigation - NAVIGON MobileNavigator

PS : After downloading extract, it will create Navigon folder, place this folder to memory card.

Sound Files

PS: Extract above file which creates 'Sound' folder, Overwrite Sound folder to Maemory card://Navigon folder(which created by downloading Map file above)
After completing this i advised to go to setting-map management-available map & download, If any file missing will downloaded

4.Sygic v8.22 MapmyIndia
Requirements: Android, Symbian, Windows Mobile

5.NDrive India v10.1.15 with Indian Voice

Requirements: Android 1.5 and Up
Overview: NDrive turns your Android phone into a powerful navigation system up to house number accuracy.

Installation Instructions:

Download both file above mentioned
Extract Ndrive.rar (SW and base file), it will extract 1. installation file, install it to device , 2. Ndrive folder - Place this folder to memory card (internal device memory in case of SGS)

Place India map file in Ndrive/Map folder
P.S. If program keeps asking you for a serial number just delete Ndrive/serial.trg file

Note : For New version Ndrive(11.0.6) Map will remain same, first uninstall old version, just install apk (from above mentioned link), You may need to download few MB batch file first time.
