Description

With OnSong, you can manage huge collections of chord sheets for your band or worship team on a simple, lightweight device. Quickly pull and reorder lists and flip from one song to the next with ease. Transpose and highlight chords or change font size with a brush of your finger! Playing music has never been more simple. This software is built for live performance musicians.

You can import songs directly from online sources, or add your own songs with the built-in editor. Just type the song like you would expect and surround your chords in square brackets inline with your lyrics. It's that easy! OnSong automatically detects sections and titles for you when you end them with a colon.

You can also import your existing songs using iTunes file sharing. OnSong supports PDF, Word, Pages, JPG, PNG, TIFF, ChordPro and text file formats.

When you have your set just the way you want it, share it with your band members over Bluetooth with their iPads. Listen to the song your are playing directly from your iPod library, play a metronome or get the music iTunes with just one click.

What's New in Version 1.83

This release has practically no new features aside from some that help resolve reported bugs. This strictly a release to fix bugs and improve performance.

Release Notes:
• Fixed: The renaming sets crash
• Fixed: If no key is found/detected, it show null. Now performs no transposition
• Fixed: An issue where certain characters coming from MobileMe in file and folder names cause crashes
• Fixed: An issue where the remember zoom/scroll position was causing issues. Set this to "off" by default and added a setting.
• Fixed: When clicking "Cancel" when picking a background image, the app crashes
• Fixed: Issue with lyric lines starting with spaces being detected as chord lines
• Fixed: Issues were the keyboard does not show/hide properly when using a foot pedal
• Fixed: Issue where using the foot pedal while autoscrolling causes a black screen to appear
• Fixed: Issue with sticky notes notes not appearing on PDF files
• Fixed: Issue where OnSong locks up trying to get the state of the playback
• Fixed: An issue where you get a blank screen if you tap on the right when only one song is available
• Fixed: Crashes occurring with N, R, I keys. Turned off this feature by default and added a setting
• Fixed: Issue where JPG or image files are not fully viewable
• Fixed: Random crashes and slow downs when coming back to the app from multitasking
• Fixed: Issue where songs appear in other books
• Fixed: Crossfading speed on lyrics projection
• Fixed: Issues switching between external screens while multitasking

• Fixed: Scrolling down a song and then navigating to the next song in a set and tapping "autoscroll" would scroll down the page. This was due to improper notification of scroll position.

• Fixed: An issue reported where songs scroll immediate to the bottom when going to them from the set. Now the position is reset to zero if the song had changed from the original.

• Added: Automatic backup and restore in the event the database file becomes corrupted due to non-atomic writes
• Added: The ability to set a copyright that appears on lyrics projection using the keywords "copyright" or "footer"
• Added: The ability to set the "keywords" metatag using the "topic" alias.
• Added: A way to sort the setting sections in the app.
• Added: An option to show scroll indicators when scrolling the page (off by default)
• Changed: If you have selected to sort sets by song title, you can know reorder the set and turn the option on and off right in the set list editor. This is to avoid a common confusing point.
